GHA's Business Development Officer Appointed Senior Examiner to the 2008 Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award's Board of Examiners!

Daniel J. Kallman, Business Development Officer for Grand Home Automation, Inc., has been appointed Senior Examiner to the 2008 Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
As an examiner, Mr. Kallman is responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications submitted for the Award. The board is composed of approximately 500 leading experts selected from industry, professional and trade organizations, education and health care organizations and government.
Those selected meet the highest standards of qualification and peer recognition. All members of the board must take part in a preparation course based on the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence and the scoring and evaluation processes for the Baldrige Award.
The Award, created by public law in 1987, is the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive. Awards may be given annually in each of six categories: Manufacturing, Service, Small Business, Education, Health Care, and Non-profit. Awards have been presented to 74 organizations to date.
Daniel is one of only one of 500 Examiners in the world who are chosen to be on the board. We are proud to have him on the Grand Home team!

Rich Conklin has been named a "Crestron Certified Programmer," making him one of only two programmers in Michigan who hold this elite title.
Rich has been in the systems integration business since 1979 and with Grand Home Automation since 2002. His main proficiencies are designing and programming high-end integrated control systems. Rich’s main goal in business is to build a personal relationship with each client and best determine how technology can enhance their lifestyle.
He has had two homes featured on the cover of Electronic House magazine and is frequently sought after to provide technical information for various trade magazines within the industry.
This new title of Crestron Certified Programmer is more than just a label. Having earned his stripes through intensive training and real-world experience, Rich is able to offer a much higher level of expertise and support with Crestron control system products.
